The Latino Festival of Monmouth County marks a milestone as it celebrates its 10th anniversary in Freehold this weekend. Festival Chairman Angel Matos said the event not only exposes visitors to various Latino cultures but it has also gone a long way in helping to dismantle the barriers of misperception.
The new Children's Advocacy Center is run by the Special Victims Unit of the County Prosecutor's Office. Lieutenant Colleen Lynch, who runs the center, said it provides one-stop services for child crime victims.
