Today is "Put The Brakes on Fatalities Day."

You may have already broken a couple of laws on your morning commute, but see if you can go the rest of today without doing anything illegal on the road.

Every Oct. 10th is a day designated to increase awareness about safe driving behaviors and keep our state's roadways fatality-free for one day.

So buckle up every ride, drive the posted speed limit, avoid distractions while driving, and (always) be safe and sober behind the wheel.

In 2016, 604 people lost their lives in motor vehicle-related crashes...up from 562 the year before.

What is the biggest challenge for you when it comes to obeying the rules of the road?
