Hmmmmm....will 'healthier' taste as good?

If you're a mom, you know it is sometimes hard to fool your kids when a name-brand product that they're used to eating suddenly changes it's ingredients.

In this case, it's probably long overdue because the things they have been putting in this mac and cheese are downright scary. So much so that hundreds of thousands signed a change.org petition asking Kraft to remove the yellow dyes 5 and 6 they used.

So, starting this January, Kraft will be getting rid of the artificial preservatives and synthetic colors.

But I know that I had stopped serving either of these foods on a regular basis once I learned how dangerous the artificial ingredients were. Same goes for Goldfish. Boys love 'em but that orange stuff seems a bit scary to me.

Of course Kraft says that even though they are changing the formula, it'll still taste like the same old Mac and Cheese.

They're going to use stuff like paprika to replicate that famous yellow color.

Kraft also says its other mac and cheese products will contain no artificial flavors, preservatives or synthetic colors as of the end of 2016. That could include Velveeta...another thing many of our kids are 'used to' the way it is.
