Charlie Sheen is the latest Hollywood figure to be named in a sexual assault allegation. The actor has been has been accused of raping Corey Haim when the late child star was just 13 years old, according to a new report from the National Enquirer.

Update: Charlie Sheen has issued an official statement to The Hollywood Reporter, denying the allegation via a representative: “Charlie Sheen categorically denies these allegations.” Original story continues below…

Dominick Brascia, a former child actor and friend of Haim, told the tabloid paper that Haim, who died of pneumonia in 2010, had told him about a sexual encounter Haim had with Sheen on the set of their 1986 film Lucas. Haim was 13 at the time, while Sheen would have been 19. Brascia described the following to the Enquirer:

Haim told me he had sex with Sheen when they filmed Lucas. He told me they smoked pot and had sex. He said they had anal sex. Haim said after it happened Sheen became very cold and rejected him. When Corey wanted to fool around again, Charlie was not interested.

Brascia added that Haim had told him he had another sexual encounter with Sheen years later when the Lost Boys star was in his mid-20s. “Haim told me he had sex with Sheen again,” Brascia told the paper. “He claimed he didn’t like it and was finally over Sheen. He said Charlie was a loser.”

It should also be noted that last year, Brascia was accused of having sex with both Haim and Corey Feldman when the two were teenagers. Brascia has since denied the allegations with the Enquirer.

The initial incident from the Lucas set is strikingly similar to one described by Haim’s friend and fellow child star Corey Feldman in his 2013 memoir Coreyography. In the book, Feldman recounted meeting his Lost Boys co-star for the first time when Haim told him he’d had sex with an unnamed man on the set of Lucas. In an excerpt from the book (via CNN), Feldman wrote:

Within hours of our first meeting, we found ourselves talking about Lucas, the film he made in the summer of 1985, the role I had wanted for myself. At some point during the filming, he explained, an adult male convinced him that its was perfectly normal for older men and younger boys in the business to have sexual relations, that it was what all the ‘guys do.’ So, they walked off to a secluded area between two trailers, during a lunch break for the cast and crew, and Haim, innocent and ambitious as he was, allowed himself to be sodomized.

The Enquirer claims to have spoken to dozens of sources in addition to Brascia who corroborate the accusation against Sheen. “Corey was so confused by the sexual encounter he believed, like so many victims, he was ‘in love’ with his abuser,” one anonymous source told the paper. Another interesting thing to note are Sheen’s divorce papers from 2006 in which ex-wife Denise Richards claimed Sheen was visiting “gay pornography sites” that included boys who appeared to be underage.
