Ocean Township Police continue to investigate a car accident Monday night around 6:11 pm that sent a 2010 Chevy Cobalt through the window of a Route 35 business.

The business was vacant but the crash caused significant damage to that part of the building.

Police say Natalie Cook of Crosswicks (Burlington County) was heading in the left lane northbound when she tried making a lane change over to the right but didn't see the motorist already there.

As a result her Cobalt collided with the unidentified vehicle causing her to run off the road and into the building.

Coook suffered minor injuries and was brought to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for treatment.

Another passenger in her vehicle sustained a small laceration and was treated at the scene and released.

The driver of the second vehicle was not injured during the initial impact.
