Chocolate Lab Mix left at Shelter when Owners had to Move

Meet our Point Pet of the Week, Coco, a 7-year old Lab/Terrier mix.

Coco's previous owners had to give up this beautiful dog when they were forced to move and couldn't take their dog with them.

Since arriving at the shelter, Coco has made lots of new friends and gets to go out on adventurous walks with the volunteers.

This dog loves to play with toys...especially a good game of fetch. And although Coco loves human friends, she should be an 'only dog' in the home because other dogs tend to scare her.

Coco loves attention and snuggling. she is house trained, and she is a perfect lady when left home alone. She knows many commands, too.

If you would like to meet Coco, you can visit her at the Eatontown location of the Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street, now with new adoptions hours: Noon - 7 pm Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and Noon - 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The MCSPCA is closed for adoptions on Mondays and Tuesdays.
