Controversial DUI Checkpoint Video Goes Viral [POLL]

A driver recorded his stop during a DUI checkpoint in Rutherford County, TN and uploaded the video to YouTube. What was caught on tape is causing quite a stir.

By today, this video post on YouTube had over two million views. The driver wrote on his page that the DUI checkpoint happened in Murfreesboro, TN and the deputy told him "it is okay to take away my freedom."

The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office said it is investigating the video. Spokeswoman Lisa Marchesoni said:

The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office is reviewing this incident. We are looking into the matter to determine if there are any policy or procedure violations.
