Cow Gets Loose Along The Garden State Parkway

Yes that was a cow along the Garden State Parkway on Saturday afternoon.

Drivers reported seeing a cow near mile marker 114 on the northbound side which turned out to be an escapee named Bossy  from the nearby Potter’s Farm in Holmdel.

State Police were able to walk Bossy back to its home according to the Asbury Park Press.

The cow did not wander into  the road but rubberneckers slowed traffic as the did a double take at the cow gently grazing on the grass.
