Coyotes spotted near a residential area in Wall Twp. Saturday

Wall Township-- Police in Wall Township received two confirmations of coyotes being spotted near Orchard Crest Boulevard and Paynters Road.

The calls came in around 10:30 Saturday morning. No injuries were reported  and no one was attacked but police are advising residents to be cautious with coyotes should they come across the wild animal.

Coyotes are known to have attacked people and although rare, approaching them is not recommended. Police are asking if you do see one in the area or if your attacked to call them and report the incident.
