The Catsbury Park Cat Convention is almost here! This is everything you need to know.

Missing the East Coast's biggest cat convention would be, well, catastrophic! So if you're a cat lover, mark your calendar for April 7th and 8th and come to Convention Hall in Asbury Park.

The weekend event brings together lovers of all things feline and will feature an all-star lineup of celebrity cats including a Meet & Greet with Hobbikats Teddy & Dexter...and Lil Bub, pictured here, who has 1.7 Instagram followers. Get a Meet & Greet with this celeb feline!

There will be speakers, vendors, games and activities all under one roof. There will also be seminars about rescue, kitten care, trap-neuter-return programs, and so much more.

General admission tickets will get you access to Convention Hall with scores of vendors and more throughout each day including cat trivia, cat bingo, a cat costume competition, cat-themed soundtracks, a tattoo booth set up for cat-related tats, face painting, a cat art show, and more!

Some of the celebs on hand will be Nala Cat (3.5 Instagram followers) and human heroes Kitten Lady and Paul the Cat Guy. Sadly, Oskar the Blind Cat (celebrated for his inspirational contact with children) was scheduled to appear before his untimely passing earlier this month. So instead, Oskar's owner and best cat-friend Klaus will be on hand to launch the Oskar & Klaus Foundation.

And if you haven't yet been to Catsbury Park, the cafe and tea lounge where you can meet cats up for adoption, it's been open since last year so check it out! The founder says there have already been over 100 adoptions! The Catsbury Park Cat Convention is their way of giving back to the cat-loving community.

The Cat Convention runs Saturday and Sunday, April 7th and 8th, from 11 am - 7 pm each day. Adults $20 single day; $35 weekend pass, Kids (12 and under) $12 single day; $20 weekend pass, children 2 and under are free.

Certain meet-and-greets and presentations as well as Cat Yoga will require a separate ticket.

Proceeds from this event will go to Catsbury Park as well as other local rescues, shelters, charities and organizations including The Brodie Fund (which raises money to help pets with cancer), Jersey Shore Animal Foundation, Camden County Animal Shelter, Paul the Cat Guy, and the Asbury Boardwalk Rescue.

The Catsbury Park Cat Convention is organized and hosted by Catsbury Park, the non-profit rescue and cafe on Cookman Avenue.
