Dictionary.com has named its "Word of the Year" for 2011...and the lucky winner? Tergiversate. Don't worry if you have no idea what it means...I didn't either.

According to the Huffington Post, it means "to change repeatedly one's attitude or opinions with respect to a cause, subject, etc.; equivocate."

Interesting. Somehow I don't see myself using tergiversate (pronounced ter-JIV-er-sate) in everyday conversation.

My pick for 2011 word of the year? Twilight. Have you gone anywhere lately without hearing THAT?

What do you think the word of the year should be? Comment below.
