Liz and I are going to have to come to some agreement on chores around the morning show cubicle.

We found a sweater at the desk. No big deal. It was a woman's black sweater so I thought Liz left it there, but it wasn't her's. It has been sitting there for two weeks. If it belongs to you, please let us know.

The really disturbing part was the cup of coffee. It wasn't mine, so obviously I thought Liz was leaving it there each morning after the show while she worked on things and I thought she was repeating the process each day. She thought it was mine.

Needless to say, nobody touched it. It was neither of ours. And the same cup of coffee had been sitting on our desk for two weeks. If it belongs to you, please let us know.

Someone had to step up and do the dirty work, and that person was me. I delicately lifted the cup and began bringing it to the sink to dump it out. Then the big moment. lifting the lid. When I did, I got another clue about the forgetful sweater wearing coffee drinker. She uses cream. Great.

So now I recommend the following cubicle clean up schedule. Liz cleans the desk Tuesdays and Thursdays, and I'll do it Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I'll take the extra day out of respect for all the mom cleaning Liz deals with each day anyway. I think that's fair, and the cubicle will smell much better.
