This is a story about puppy love, literally. When Ben got adopted from the Humane Society in Indiana, no one realized he was being taken away from the love of his life and the mother of his puppies, Jade. She was still at the shelter.

So what was Ben to do? According to today.com, something that rivals the best love story Hollywood ever thought of. Ben ran away from his new home and trekked 10 miles in the winter cold back to the shelter to be with Jade. No, it’s not a Disney movie, it really happened.

But just like a great movie, this story has a happy ending. When the family who adopted Ben realized what was going on, they gladly adopted Jade as well. Aww!!
