Mary's Place by the Sea is an amazing organization here at the Jersey Shore that has helped women across the country who are suffering from cancer to rest, heal, and receive several treatments for FREE.

The biggest Mary's Place fundraiser of the year happens this weekend, and so far only 21% of the goal has been raised.

Mary's Place by the Sea is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides oncological massage therapy, spa and salon treatments, nutritious meals, yoga, touch therapy, journal writing, group workshops, individual counseling, prevention lectures, support groups, or for the women who don't want services, just the chance to relax is a peaceful place.

Set in a beautiful Victorian home near the water in Ocean Grove, Mary's Place is an incredible place where women battling cancer can come to heal.

You can still register to walk, or come out to support the cause this Saturday, May 11 at 15 Broadway in Ocean Grove. Registration begins at 11 a.m., and there will be vendors, food, music, and giveaways.

Registration is $35, and includes a Walkathon t-shirt.

It's really an incredible cause, and I have set up a modest personal goal of $50, which I'm hoping to really shatter.

Honestly, every dollar helps. It goes towards the mortgage on the Mary's Place house, the treatments offered, and the supplies for the house...all vital things for helping the organization continue to assist women in need.

We'd love to see you out for the Walkathon, but if you can't make it, any donation you can make will be a huge help!

We all know someone touched by cancer...let's continue to help in any way we can!
