Door 21 Foundation To Hold 5K Run For Sandy Relief
With so many people in our area still in need of help in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, Door 21 Foundation is holding a 5K Fun Run for Hurricane Sandy relief Sunday April 28th at High School North in Toms River.
The event is called the “Shore To Run 5K Fun Run and 1 Mile Kids Run”. Proceeds benefit the Door 21 Foundation’s Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund. The 1 mile Kid’s Run begins at 9:30am and the 5K Fun Run starts at 10:00am.
Goody bag pick up and same day registration for the event begins at 8:30am and there will be an awards ceremony at 11:00am. Award will be presented for top 3 overall winners, male or female and top 3 in each age group. Registration is free for all Hurricane Sandy victims.
