This Sunday kicks off Downtown Freehold Irish Week with a new parade route this year, marching from Mclean Street to the Elk’s Lodge.

Freehold Borough’s Arts Council’s 7th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will assemble at noon on Mclean Street, stepping off at 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. There will be an After Party at Freehold Elk’s Lodge 1454, featuring the Joe Baracata Band.

The festivities continue with the Flavor of Freehold on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 13th and 14th from 5:30pm-8pm. Here’s your chance to tour some of Downtown Freehold’s restaurants and shops. Your “Shamrock Passport” will allow you to receive signature sample menu items and other perks.

On Thursday, March 15th it’s the Pub Crawl from 8 p.m. - 10 p.m. This is the ultimate Happy Hour with bagpipers as you get to participate in Beer and Scotch Tasting at the American Hotel, Federici’s, Court Jester and the Metropolitan Cafe.
