I have had the opportunity to interview Dr. Russ several times and those conversations have included something many people affected by substance abuse may not be used to hearing about...hope. You can check out the latest of those interviews below.

Dr. Russ is also taking that message of hope to the road. He will be speaking at Keansburg High School at an event called "Heroin - Are You Talking to Your Kids?" It is presented by Keansburg School District and Substance Awareness Coordinators, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, the Keansburg Police Department and Father Time.

It is a free presentation for adults and kids 5th grade and up, and will take place Tuesday May 27th in the cafeteria at Keansburg High School and it starts at 6:30am. For more information, please call George Hoff at 732-787-2007 extension 4250. Find out more about Dr. Ferstandig and the help he can offer at the Monmouth Behavioral Medicine website.
