DWI Checkpoints Scheduled in Monmouth County this Weekend

Police are cracking down on drunk and impaired drivers Friday and Saturday in Monmouth County. 

According to the Monmouth County DWI Task Force, there will be two impaired driving checkpoints this weekend. The first will occur from 10 p.m. Friday through Saturday at 2 a.m. in Eatontown. Authorities will be targeting motorists on westbound Route 36 near Old Orchard Country Club.

On Saturday night beginning at 10 p.m., Belmar Police will be directing drivers on southbound Route 35 into Maclearie Park through 2 a.m. Sunday.
