The Eatontown Toys R Us has fallen victim to the company's bankruptcy reorganization.

The toy giant has been a staple in Eatontown since 1977.

As online sales continue to grow, brick and mortar retailers continue to struggle. Toys R Us is no exception as they announced Tuesday that they would be shutting down 182 stores across the country.

The Eatontown location on 35 and Wycoff Rd. will reportedly start their going-out-of-business sales in February and close by April.

Other NJ locations that are set to close up shop are in Bridgewater, Burlington, Cherry Hill, East Hanover, Elizabeth, Mount Olive, North Brunswick, Paramus, Phillipsburg, Union, and Wayne.
