Escape to Spring at NJ Flower & Garden Show
If you’re as sick as I am of this snowy, dreary winter, it’s time to immerse yourself in all things spring…and nothing says spring like flowers!
Lucky for us, we can get our green fix this weekend at the New Jersey Flower & Garden Show in Middlesex County. Head to the NJ Convention Center in Edison for gardening tips and seminars, awesome displays of flowers and greenery, and of course the Great Garden Marketplace where you can buy all kinds of colorful blooms, garden, and home items!
The show was canceled for today because of the snow, but will be open tomorrow and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $6 for kids…but it’s free for the little ones under 12!
A new feature this year which is really cool is the Gourmet & Grape component, a section where food and wine is tied into outdoor living! There will be cooking demonstrations, food and wine exhibitors, and plenty of guest speakers!
Whether you’re looking for some design ideas for your backyard, want to learn how to arrange flowers, or just want to breathe in the fabulous smell of fresh blooms, there’s tons to see and do at this show!
There may be 34 days until the official start to spring, but this is a fun way to get a little fix now and get rid of the winter blues!!
