Movies On The Mound

The Point teams up with the Lakewood BlueClaws for the first Movies On the Mound at FirstEnergy Park on Saturday, August 30 at 8:30PM in association with Shore Flicks. Watch Shrek on the big screen set up on the field and enjoy a fun night! Tickets are on sale at the FirstEnergy Park ticket office. Pre-sale tickets are $5. Tickets purchased at the gate will be $7 and children two and under are free. There is also a family five-pack available for $20 either in pre-sale or the day of the event. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Parents of Autistic Children (POAC).

Point Crew @ FAAN Walk
Look for the Point Crew at the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) fundraising walk at Pier Village in Long Branch hosted by Frank Dicopoulos who plays Frank Cooper on CBS’ The Guiding Light.  FAAN is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to raise public awareness, provide advocacy and education, and advance research on behalf of all those affected by food allergies and anaphylaxis. Approximately 12 million people, or 4% of the U.S. population, suffer from food allergy. Three million are children, 83,407 from New Jersey.
