Expressing Gratitude

I am spending time this week thanking some of the people in Monmouth and Ocean counties that have helped so many of us. Today I'd like to thank Kevin McHugh at The Atlantic Club in Manasquan.

The people at Atlantic Club on Atlantic Avenue in Manasquan, (along with their Red Bank location), has really gone out of their way to help our community.

Not only are they in the business of encouraging a healthy lifestyle, but the owner, Patricia Laus, along with COO Kevin McHugh, Member Experience Manager and Assistant to the Executive Offices Shannon Keating (and SO many others) have gone out of their way to raise money for numerous non-profits that would take pages and pages to mention!

Just recently, they hosted our morning show so that together we could raise close to 1700 pounds of food, along with lots of money, for the Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. In one day alone, we were able to help provide THOUSANDS of meals to those in need.

The Atlantic Club also considers ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) a cause near and dear to their hearts and are determined to help find a cure. They have also raised money for some other amazing and worthy charities through so many diverse events, all of which welcome the public's help and support.

The staff, trainers, fitness instructors, and facilities themselves are just top notch. There is simply nothing else like this place and the people that work there when it comes to taking care of the health of you and your family. It is truly a remarkable place filled with smiles and encouragement from those that you will see around each and every building and room of this great place. It's so much more than just a gym.

So whether it's a gym, hundreds of different types of fitness classes, tennis, swimming, racquetball, basketball, summer camp, athletic training, personal training,  Preschool/Kindergarten, daycare, spa experiences, morale-boosting gatherings and networking groups, or just having a healthy, delicious meal and doing some gift shopping, this place is THE BEST!!!
