This weekend we officially welcome Fall 2018 to the Jersey Shore. And that means some great fall festivals in our area.

This is the time of year that we break out the hoodies and sweaters and eat and drink only things that are pumpkin flavored. And it's the time of year that we head out to some great fall events.

Here are just a few great fall events that are scheduled soon.

19th Century Fall Harvest Festival. You can join the villagers in celebrating the harvest, including gidr pressing and much more. It's this Saturday at Historic Allaire Village from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

Halloween Funfest. It starts this Saturday and runs through October 28th. There will be a hay maze, corn maze, petting zoo and much more. It's at Maple Leaf Farms in Manalapan and the hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm.

St. Barbara Greek Festival. It's a great event with authentic Greek food, fun and entertainment for the whole family, and takes place September 28th through the 30th at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, Church Rd. in Toms River.

There are a ton of great events statewide as well, and you can check out more at the New Jersey Family website.
