Fallout Boy has been announced as the headliner for the Skate and Surf Festival, which comes to iPlay America in Freehold on May 18 and 19.

The band has been on hiatus since November of 2009 as its members pursued solo projects. Fallout Boy will release a new album, ‘Save Rock and Roll,’ on May 6.

Skate and Surf Festival began in the early 2000s as a one-day event at Asbury Park’s Convential Hall and eventually evolved into The Bamboozle Festival. The Bamboozle began in Asbury Park, moved to the Meadowlands and eventually returned to the Asbury Park beachfront last year for a widely attended three-day event.

More information on this year’s Skate and Surf Festival including full line-ups and ticket information is available at their official website, SkateandSurfFest.com.
