Family Could No Longer Care for Her
Meet our Point Pet of the Week — Ava.
Ava is a beautiful terrier mix. Her family was no longer able to care for her, so she is now at the Monmouth County SPCA waiting for a new family to love her. This sweet dog is very friendly and loves people. She is just a little bit shy when first being introduced to new situations.
Ava is crate trained and a joy to be around. She is about 2 years old and loves to play — squeaky toys and balls are her favorties. She also loves a nice game of tug-o-war. This is one smart animal who knows some basic commands and is really motivated to learn more tricks if you have some treats to help her along!
If you know someone who would like to meet Ava, she is at the Eatontown location, 260 Wall Street. The MCSPCA is open 7 days a week from Noon – 5 pm, with extended hours on Wednesdays until 7 pm. For more info, call 732-542-4552 or email email@example.com.
The MCSPCA also has a low cost vaccine clinic every Friday from 10:30 am – 2 pm. It’s a great way to protect your pet and not empty your wallet. They offer all basic vaccines, heartworm testing, microchipping, and more. You can even purchase your heartworm and flea and tick preventatives. Just bring your leashed or crated pet to the Eatontown location.
The MCSPCA also has a spay/neuter clinic open to the public by appointment only.
AND… November is Adopt a Senior Month. To celebrate, the MCSPCA has a very special offer: Senior Cats for Senior Laps! Those 65 and older can adopt a cat 10 years and older for just a $20 adoption fee! AND, each adoption includes 2 complimentary, in-home wellness visits within a year of adoption!
