This summer at the Shore has been all about extreme heat. Will this winter be just as extreme? The Farmer's Almanac takes a look at what kind of weather we may see in the upcoming seasons at the Shore.

Remember this past Christmas when it was 70-degrees with thunderstorms? According to the Almanac, that's not likely to happen again. While their forecast calls for above average temperatures this winter at the Shore, they are predicting the coldest temperatures to be in "late December, early to mid- and mid- to late January, and early and mid-February."

As far as snow is concerned, The Farmer's Almanac is saying that our friends to the north will see above average snowfall, while the Shore will likely experience below average snowfall.

So, if we go "by the book," expect and warmer and drier than normal winter at the Jersey Shore.
