Summer weather is here and people all over the Jersey Shore are celebrating, but they're also talking about the clinging jellyfish.

The clinging jellyfish are small, but according to experts, their sting is a particularly painful one. They have been spotted the the Jersey shore before, and this season they have been spotted again.

The Department of Environmental Protection has actually set up a map that you can check out to see where the clinging jellyfish have been spotted around our area. It also shows areas that have been checked and no clinging jellyfish were detected.

The clinging jellyfish could be found in back bays and rivers, but wouldn't be found at ocean beaches since they wouldn't survive the surf, according to app.com.
