Fire Burning in Ocean County

A fire is burning in Ocean County, sending smoke high into the air.

High up atop the Townsquare Towers here in Toms River, we have a pretty nice view looking southbound...where we saw this:

Officials say it's a 'controlled burn' in the area of Jakes Branch County Park in Berkeley Township. Today's mild, windl-free weather conditions make it a good day to clear out the underbrush.

You may see and/or smell smoke in the surrounding area, but at this point it is nothing to worry about.
