New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has order flags around the state to be flown at half staff to honor U.S. Army Sergeant Shauna Brocklebank Adams.

Brocklebank Adams, a 2003 graduate of Long Branch High School and a 2008 graduate of Montclair State University, died in a training accident on March 28 in Pyeongtaek, South Korea, where she was stationed.

The 27-year-old enlisted in the United States Army in 2010. She married her husband, Kyle Adams, in February of this year. Adams was serving in Afghanistan when his wife died and was flown to New Jersey to attend her funeral.
