The Centers for Disease Control has said that the spread of the flu in New Jersey has slowed down over the past week.

Last week, the flu activity in the Garden State has dropped to the "moderate" level, but experts caution that the flu season still has plenty of time left, according to nj.com. The level of flu activity in New Jersey for the prior week had been "high".

According to the experts, the flu season normally lasts about 13 weeks, and we are currently in week 7, but they say even though this week's activity dropped in the past week, it is too early to tell if it has peaked.
