We all find ourselves drifting off and losing concentration from time to time. If it's a problem for you, you may want to add certain foods to your diet.

You know the feeling. You're working on a project and your mind drifts to...well...anything but the project. Before long you can't even remember what project you were working on before your mental vacation.

Well, msn.com reports that the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics says the food you are, or more specifically, are not eating may be part of the problem. Here are some of the foods they suggest you consume to keep the focus.

Coffee with cinnamon...The coffee is, of course, a boost, but add cinnamon and your focus will be even sharper.

Berries...Some berries are reported to help your concentration abilities and your memory for up to 5 hours.

Beets...They are reported to actually increase blood flow to the brain.

So, if you're next to someone slurping cinnamon coffee and chomping on a beet, don't even try to interrupt them. They're probably in a focus zone. And for those of you who started reading this an hour ago, but stopped to take a few phone calls, gossiped, and spent time looking out the office window watching two birds fight for a worm, you may want to grab a handful of berries.
