Retired Football Player Writes a Book For Kids

"Alan and His Perfectly Pointy, Impossibly Perpendicular Pinky" is the name of a new children's book written by a former football player.

He's a football Hall of Famer and a State Supreme Court Justice.

And now Alan Page is the author of a children's book about one of his fingers.

He says kids have always asked him about the pinky that is permanently bent outward at a 90-degree angle. It's been dislocated and reset several times - - once by a teammate during a game.

Now he's written a book about it.

The former NFL MVP and his daughter wrote the book together to help raise money for the Page Education Foundation. It's helped thousands of kids attend college ove the last 25 years.

The pinky isn't just the subject of a children's book, either. Page says "it makes for a very good turn signal." lol
