The first thing Liz searched for in the studio this morning was a tissue, and she suffered a midnight sneezing attack. It's spring allergy season at the Jersey Shore.

If you are suffering from allergies as well, we wanted to give you an idea of why and a peek at what to expect in the next couple of days. According to the forecast, it looks like it's ragweed pollen that's getting you. It's high inland and moderate along the coast.

It doesn't look like we're dealing with much else, with grass pollen and tree pollen reported low, according to accuweather.com. and here's what to expect over the next 48 hours in the area.

Today: Ragweed pollen levels HIGH inland and MODERATE closer to the shore.

Tomorrow: Ragweed pollen levels HIGH inland and MODERATE along the shore.

Here's the good news. The forecast for ragweed pollen is low for all of Monmouth and Ocean Counties for Friday, so some relief isn't that far away. Easy for me to say, I'm not the one who's sneezing.
