Say it ain't so. Is another bad winter on the way for a Jersey Shore that had it's fill of bad winter weather last year?

When I heard Eric Scott mention it on this morning's news, I was just upset with hearing the word "winter". Then when he was talking about how some forecasters are predicting another bad winter, I literally got mad. Really?

When do we catch a break, right? The good news is nothing is set in stone. At liveweatherblogs.com, they talk about El Nino and the Southern Jet Stream and other variables that obviously could change.

The Old Farmer's Almanac is calling for a wetter, colder winter, with above normal snowfall. It says our coldest time period will be late December to mid January, and the most snowfall will take place "mid- and late December, mid-January, and early to mid-February". So, basically, it will snow all winter except the first week of January? Thanks for that.

I don't know what kind of winter we'll actually have, but I know what kind of winter we deserve. A nice warm quiet one. Sounds like wishful thinking.
