Former nursing home patient indicted for alleged sexual assault of fellow patient
Just two days shy of his 39th birthday, Alvin Flippin received an indictment on Friday by a Monmouth County grand jury on charges he, a patient himself, allegedly sexually assaulted another patient at a nursing and rehabilitation facility in Tinton Falls in April.
On April 3 of this year Flippin, 38, allegedly sexually assaulted a 58-year old at Wardell Gardens and was arrested on May 19 at another facility in Freehold.
Flippin faces between five and ten years in state prison if convicted of one count of second degree Sexual Assault in the indictment.
He faces 18-months in prison if convicted of fourth degree Criminal Sexual Contact.
Investigators are still looking into the charges and to see if there were any other victims.

Despite these charges, every defendant is presumed innocent, unless and until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, following a trial at which the defendant has all of the trial rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and State law.
