Fundraiser Tonight for Point Pleasant Family That Lost Home in Fire
After a local family lost their home to a fire last month, the community is coming together to help them get back on their feet.
That support continues tonight with a fundraiser that promises a good time for a good cause, and you can help!
The January 30th blaze on Miller Ave. left the Wexler/Townsend family with nothing. Bill Wexler is employed by restaurant 709 Point Beach, and that's where tonight's event will take place.
From 7-10 p.m., there will be free food and entertainment, along with a cash bar and a donation raffle with prizes. Tickets for the fundraiser are $25, and can be purchased at the door.
You can also bring items to the event to donate to the family. There's also a GoFundMe page set up to help the family, which you can visit HERE.
