Well, another lottery drawing has come and gone and you're getting ready for another workday. That must mean it didn't go your way again. At least you tried.

I want to tell you the single reason I bought tickets this time around. I literally thought to myself, "If I wake up tomorrow and find out that ticket was sold in the store I would have bought my tickets in, I'll kick myself".

Really? Isn't that pretty selfish of me? I'd like to think that if one of my neighbors held the winning ticket that they bought in our neighborhood store, I'd be happy for them...and I would. It's just that I'd be much happier knowing I had bought my tickets and there was no chance the winning ticket MIGHT have been mine.

It's kind of the same thing as the office pool situation. Who wants to be the only one that wasn't involved? Who wants to be the only one at the water cooler the next day? Who wants to be the one who was too busy to go to the ATM and now you're out a few million dollars. Not me.

Hey, there's always next time.
