Garden State Parkway Flooded

There is nothing more to say except, avoid getting on the Parkway today, take another route. On my journey home from exit 105 southbound to exit 89 torrential rain made traveling quite tricky. Throw in a couple of signs stating “STANDING WATER REDUCE SPEED” made things even more interesting. It wasn’t until people started slamming on their brakes that I realized what the signs meant. Yes, the Parkway was flooded. About a mile north of exit 91. Northbound traffic was backed up for miles due to flooding as well.
