It is no secret that gas prices are through the roof right now no matter where you go.

Gas is around $3.00 per gallon and this is just getting completely out of hand. Last year, gas cost about $2.30 per gallon so what the heck happened!?

So first of all, when watching a "gas cost" segment on the news, on average it is going to cost all of us at the Jersey Shore an extra $200 this season to get around! I definitely could think of better things that that kind of money can be going towards.

But let's also remember that there is a massive amount of people -- yes, I know Bennies is the term most of you prefer -- that travel down to the Southern half of New Jersey.

You can complain all you want but the amount of business that is brought to the Jersey Shore by these Bennies during the Summer is insane and thanks to the gas price increase, it could really take a hard hit this year.

And who suffers if the businesses down here aren't doing well -- US!!!

So what do we do? I wish I had an answer but vent away because I am sure I am not the only one who is frustrated with these gas prices.
