A new holiday event called Winter on Broad Street takes place this Sunday on Broad Street!

If you want to get into the holiday mood on Sunday, Dec. 9th  (parking in the municipal lots and on the streets is FREE that day) then check out a new event called Winter on Broad Street.

What it means for you is lots of fun outside on the streets, including ice skating (!!!), a life-sized snow globe which you and up to 5 of your friends will be able to step inside of to take selfies (!!!), and plenty of shopping including a Holiday Bazaar.

It all takes place this Sunday, Dec. 9th, from 11 am - 7 pm, and there will be skate rentals available in all sizes in case you don't have your own.

New activities for this special event are being added daily, so the day will be full of surprises.

The 'ice rink' (made from that plastic material that supposedly allows you to skate pretty well) will be open for the full event (11am - 7 pm) and will be located on Broad Street between Wallace and White Streets. That's where the giant walk-in Snow Globe will be, too.

The Bazaar of locally made items for sale will be held on Wallace St. And there will even be a Scavenger Hunt!

Needless to say, Broadway will be closed from White Street to Monmouth Street between 7 am and 10 pm! The good news is that if you are driving down White Street, you will be allowed to TURN LEFT onto Broad Street for this day only!

Wallace Street will be closed from Broad St. to the entrance of the Metropolitan.
