Giraffe the Dog at the SPCA in Eatontown Needs a Home

Who could possibly resist this face? Do you know someone who will take our Point Pet of the Week home?

Giraffe is a 3-year old terrier mix. She came to stay at the Monmouth County SPCA when her last owner had to move and was not able to take any pets with her.

Giraffe can be shy at first, so she would be most comfortable in a nice, quiet home without too much chaos so that she can relax. Once she warms up, Giraffe loves snuggling up to you for attention and cuddle time.

This beautiful dog likes to play -- squeaky toys and balls are her favorites. She is smart, too, and knows 'sit', 'down', 'stay', 'come', and 'shake.' She even knows a few tricks and likes to show off by catching treats in the air!

You can meet Giraffe at the MCSPCA's Eatontown location at 260 Wall Street, 7 days a week from Noon - 5 pm.

Also, the MCSPCA will be holding a clinic this Saturday, Feb. 27th, 8:30 - Noon. Walk-ins only. No appointments. This month they are running a special on rabies vaccines -- HALF PRICE! You can also purchase your heartworm preventatives and flea and tick treatments here.
