This is Bugsy, our Point Pet of the Week. Here's why you should adopt him.

Bugsy is a 5-year old Terrier mix who is a special needs boy. He was found as a stray and was taken off the streets by a good Samaritan. It was determined that he is blind and can only see shadows.

But don't let that fool you! Bugsy gets along just fine! He loves a nice walk and gets super excited when friends come to take him out. He walks well on a leash and is also very affectionate and loves to snuggle.

Everyone who meets this dog loves him. He loves when you give him toys even if he can't see them too well. He's really smart, too, and knows some basic commands. And he is really motivated so he is always learning new things.

If you are interested in meeting this sweet boy, please come visit him at the Eatontown location of the Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street. 7 days a week, Noon to 5 pm. And now, on Wednesdays, extended hours until 7 pm! For more info call 732-542-4552 or email adoptions@monmouthcountyspca.org.

And this Saturday, June 25th, the MCSPCA will be having their monthly vaccine clinic. This month they are offering free Rabies vaccines!!! Don't miss this incredible opportunity. The clinic runs from 8:30 am til Noon. No appointment necessary, so just walk in! Come get all your pet needs taken care of,microchipping, heart worm-testing, and flea/tick preventatives!
