Monmouth County is great for road trips, arts and entertainment! Check out some events coming up that you may not have known about.

As the gateway to the Jersey Shore, Monmouth County has more than 50 miles of beaches, boardwalks, lighthouses, and delightful downtowns.

The MoCo Arts Corridor is designed to promote the many art, cultural, and historic assets in Monmouth County.

Here's just a taste of what's going on in the MoCo Corridor this season:

-- It's the Summer Jazz Cafe at Two River Theater in Red Bank from July 8th - 30th. Weekly cafe nights offer a nightclub atmosphere at a fraction of the price. Perfect for a date night or pre-dinner stop before hitting the town.

-- The Little Mermaid is coming to the Algonquin Arts Theatre in Manasquan from July 16th - 31st. Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories and the classic animated film, Disney's The Little Mermaid is a story for the ages.

-- The Lewis Lanza Rudolph 1949-2012 exhibit at Monmouth Museum in Lincroft runs now through September 4th.Featuring abstract oil paintings and landscapes by the reclusive, surrealistic artist and lifelong resident of Red Bank.
