Plans are in the works for a movie to be made of the musical “Jersey Boys.”

“Jersey Boys” won a Tony Award for best musical and a Grammy Award for best cast album.

The musical, now running for six years, tells the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. The pop group formed in north Jersey decades ago, and had monster hits like “Sherry” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry.”

Other good news – an eclectic CD is out for the holidays, featuring holiday classics sung by various cast members from “Jersey Boys” productions across the country.
