It's one of the most disturbing videos I've ever seen, and it's going viral.

A woman is seen flipping a newborn baby around, swinging him from one limb, like a rag doll, and she's not the only one.

In the video circulating on Facebook, the woman calls the baby an 'idiot' and says he likes it.

(WARNING: This video is EXTREMELY graphic and disturbing.)

The video, shared nearly 90,000 times, is captioned,

Baby being tortured for fun. FBI ARE SEARCHING FOR THIS WOMAN WHO IS SEEM FLIPPING A BABY AROUND UPSIDE DOWN. THEY ARE ASKING U TO SHARE THIS VIDEO AND ASKING ANYBODY WHO KNOWS THIS WOMAN TO TURN HER IN TO THE FBI OR LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT...' [all sic]

The problem is...that isn't true. The FBI isn't looking for this woman, and if you ask her, she'll probably tell you she's not torturing the baby.

It's a practice called 'baby yoga' and it's apparently becoming increasingly popular in Eastern Russia, where it seems this video was filmed.

If you can believe it, a different video depicting the same thing went viral in 2011:

(WARNING: This video is EXTREMELY graphic and disturbing.)

The purpose of it? Apparently to increase blood flow to joints, leading to bigger, stronger babies. In one interview, the 'baby dynamics yoga guru' and star of the second video, Lena Fokina, said she 'doesn't recall any' accidents ever happening with the babies.

Parents claim babies who are subjected to this 'started walking early, swimming early.'

Fokina told The Daily Mail, 'the children often turn out to be early readers, singers, talkers, swimmers. It also makes their hands stronger. We are humanists and we don’t do anything wrong.'

I -- like most of you, I'm sure -- can hardly wrap my brain around the whole thing. It looks like flat out child abuse. Torture in the purest form.

I hate to be closed-minded, and if all of the babies who have been subjected to this have really wound up being totally fine and developmentally advanced, then perhaps I'm wrong.

I can only remember when I held my Godson, he was probably a month old, and simply HOLDING him made me nervous. He seemed so very delicate that the slightest wrong touch would hurt him.

I couldn't fathom SWINGING HIM THROUGH THE AIR BY ONE LEG.

Hell, I can't fathom swinging any human being from a single limb, because it seems full on bat-poo crazy!
