Details on a New and Much Needed Parkway Exit

I think we're all enjoying the "new" Exit 89 on the GSP. Soon though, there could be and addition to the Parkway that would be a game changer. 

What do you think about Exit 83 southbound? It could be happening and we'll know for sure by the end of the year. Here's the lowdown.

There are congestion issues on Route 9,  New Hampshire and Hooper avenues. The only options now are to take 89 or hook up with Route 37 in Toms River at Exit 82.

Similar to Exit 83 on the northbound side, the construction on the southbound side would allow drivers to access Routes 9, 166 and 571.

Even if this $5-10 million project gets the green light, it will likely take nearly three years for it to be completed.
