If you don't want to make the mess at home, bring your children out for one of these fun festivities!

Hulafrog is out with a list of places you can go this weekend to get your kids in the Halloween spirit:

1. Pick and Paint a Pumpkin: On the boardwalk in Asbury Park, for kids (and parents!) of all ages. Just bring an item to donate to the Asbury Park Toy & Coat Drive, then pick your pumpkin and show off your decorative skills...with a beautiful ocean view to inspire you! (Saturday, Oct. 27th, Noon - 3 pm)

2. Glitter Masks at the Pt. Pleasant Beach Library: Kids 2 - 5-years old can make a festive glittery Halloween mask. Ragistration required. (Oct. 25th, 10 am - Noon)

3. Pumpkin Painting and More: Barlow's Flower Farm in Sea Girt is hosting this festive fall morning for all ages. Spooky stories and face painting, too. Registration is required. Cost is $6. (Sun., Oct. 28, 11 am and noon)

Boo on the Boardwalk: Yet another great time for the whole family in Pt. Pleasant at Jenkinson's. It's all kinds of Halloween fun, including some great crafts for all. (Sat. and Sun., Oct. 27 & 28, Noon - 5 pm)

4. Wall Library Halloween Party: Grades Pre-K thru 3 are invited for Halloween games, a monster craft, treats and more. Be sure to have your kids wear their costumes. Registration required. (Wed., Oct. 24, 4:15 - 4:45 pm)
