Handling birthday parties at the office can be tricky. Here on the morning show I celebrate for a month, and for Liz, we wait until Liz is off, and then throw her birthday party that day.

So what happens in your office? Is there a cake for every single birthday, driving your calorie count way up? Maybe there's no acknowledgement at all, after all there could be cakes every day otherwise, right? The good news - the calorie count is down with this method.

Then there's the monthly cake. To me, that seems like the most logical. If you're going to do it, this method keeps the calorie count down (relatively down) and productivity up (relatively up)

So what is the method at your office?
