Haunted Hall Asbury Park: What to Expect

Haunted Hall is open in Asbury Park, and it's selling out fast...if you're still not sure you want to check it out, here's more info on what you can expect!

Now, it's no secret that I don't do scary things, so I haven't actually been to Haunted Hall, but luckily, I know all the right people, so here's what's up:

It's a walk-through haunted house-style attraction within Convention Hall in Asbury Park. (Convention Hall and the Paramount Theater are supposedly legitimately haunted, but this is not a ghost tour by any means, it's its own scary-riffic thing.)

The address of Convention Hall is 1300 Ocean Ave. It's on the boardwalk. There is plenty of parking both on the street and in designated lots, but you will have to feed the meters. It's $2/hr on Ocean Ave., $1/hr everywhere else.

It takes about 15 minutes to walk through Haunted Hall.

If you are in a large group, keep in mind that a max of 8 people are allowed to enter at the same time. If you hate waiting in line, BUY YOUR TICKETS NOW and then get there early.

There are killer clowns, possessed little girls, voodoo priestesses, etc. all roaming around just waiting to jump out and scare you...or silently follow you around to freak you out. (Don't kick them. It's mean.)

There are gory sets, strobe lights, fog, and a general feeling of creepiness.

If you're pregnant, claustrophobic, asthmatic, have heart issues, are prone to seizures, or have any other health issues...this is not for you. It's a safety issue.

Kids under 10 are not allowed in. No exceptions. 11-13 you must be accompanied by an adult.

Haunted Hall is open Thursdays 6 - 10 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays 7-11 p.m. Halloween night it will be open 5 -11 p.m. Tickets are $15, and there are no refunds or exchanges.
