I may have done the laziest thing I've ever done the other day, and it got me thinking, just how lazy am I? And just how lazy have we all gotten.

I was at a Point Pleasant supermarket last week and I wanted to get some apples, but I couldn't find them already in a bag. I apparently didn't have time to put 5 apples in a produce bag all by myself. So I didn't get apples. Am I kidding me?

Are we that spoiled? Apparently I am. I will also watch a show I have no interest in if I can't find the remote. And don't even try to tell me I'm the only one. How else would we learn about diners in Michigan or how many M & M's are made per hour?

It even happens when we order dinner and ask for it to be delivered. If they say it's more than twenty minutes, eyes are rolling! Forget the fact that you don't have to cook, and they're bringing the hot food directly to your door. Twenty five minutes?? Is it the World Series or something?

I guess it's easy to fall into the trap. We live for convenience, and who can blame us? We're always running around, and every minute counts. But let's all make an effort to stop and smell the roses...or at least bag the apples.
